Daniel and I traveled to Mexico City and Oaxaca this February as both a belated honeymoon and celebration of eight years together. We both love traveling and have made a habit of going to Mexico during the brutal Chicago winter for the past three years now. This trip was different than the past two as we both left our laptops at home and fully embraced taking a vacation for the two of us.

Highlights of our time in Mexico City included lots of walking and enjoying some of our favorite food and drinks, as well as exploring the Biblioteca Vasconcelos and taking in incredible views of the Pallacio de Bellas Artes.

Highlights of our time in Oaxaca included an art walking tour, cooking class complete with a trip to a local market for ingredients, a day trip to Hierve El Agua which included a stops at a local textile factory and mezcal factory, a bike tour, and lots of delicious food and drinks.

Our continued focus and prioritization of travel allows me to refuel my creativity often so that I can best serve my business and clients, as well as feel energized to embark on new passion projects. Here are some photos from our week-long trip that I hope will inspire you as much as they have me.
