To be honest, I'm open to anything!
To give you some ideas of what I've been dreaming about lately: stained glass, ceramics, paintings, large-scale artwork, sculpture, brand photography and videography, and anything food-related.
To give you some ideas of what I've traded for in the past: iron roses, abstract paintings, professional photography sessions, original artwork, a private dinner party for four, ice cream cakes, coaching sessions, and delicious doughnuts.
While I haven't yet traded in an ephemeral medium capacity, I am always open to new ideas so please do not let your type of art or creative services prevent you from submitting.

The main difference is that you pay with art instead of money. You can expect the same quality of goods and services as we give our highest paying clients.
Fun fact: we actually offer up to 25% in trade on a regular basis to minority, LGBTQ+, and woman-owned businesses on most design projects.

Requests are accepted on a rolling basis. I am prioritizing artists who are the right fit in values-alignment and mutual benefit.
I am committed to offering these trades throughout on a continued basis. The intention of this program is to make my work more accessible to the most creative people.

You can expect an initial response within 48-72 hours. Please note that we do not respond on weekends or holidays, as work-life balance is a priority. This doesn't mean you shouldn't submit over the weekend, after-hours, or on holidays - it just means you should expect to wait longer to hear back.

7. We support you on an on-going basis (all our customers get priority access to our schedule and offers)
*Lettering Works handles all of the paperwork and logistics and customizes our agreement to each specific trade. We use online forms to keep the process streamlined and well documented. You will get the same attention and thoughtfulness that we bring to all of our creative work.

Trades often expedite the process of getting everyone what they want and need. Cash flow is one of the most challenging aspects of business and I've found that many artists can have their cash go further if they invest in raw materials and supplies. This often leaves essential business expenses, like branding and business development, on the back burner.
Trades also help forge partnerships and mutual respect between collaborators.

Yes! There's no harm in reaching out as each request will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
I do recommend that you have a good feel for your art and style before investing in any branding work. Not to worry though, because I offer both courses and consulting sessions that could be a great fit here.
