~ NOW BOOKING PROJECTS FOR APRIL & BEYOND ~ If you are interested in working together, I’d be happy to start the conversation and share more about how I can help you with your branding, design, and custom merchandise needs.

BUSINESS JOURNAL: A PLACE TO CELEBRATE WINS & REFLECT - 63RD EDITION

March’s highlights included multiple Adobe events, working with the Logan Square Chamber of Commerce, creating new artwork for personal projects, and being featured on StickerGiant’s blog.

The Big Wins

  1. Shared my insights on the “From Passion to Profession: Freelancing” panel at Adobe’s Creative Retreat in Chicago. I was honored to be invited to participate in the student-centric event as a panelist, portfolio reviewer, and career advisor. Adobe also purchased some of my “Know Your Worth (and then add tax.)” stickers to give out at the event.

  2. Designed the 2025 cover for Logan Square Chamber of Commerce’s upcoming Community Guide. This is a dream project for me, so I can’t wait to share more soon and hope to have more opportunities to work hyper locally with the chamber.

General Updates + Accomplishments:

  • StickerGiant featured me on their blog for Women’s History Month. You can find the interview here.

  • Completed a rush project and put more stickers into production for an education technology company. Did you know that I have over 200 designs you can customize to match your brand’s colors and even include your name or website? Minimum orders start at 200 stickers/design.

  • Started work on a new Artist Trade Project creating a logo for a local creator who works in the food and hospitality space thanks to my work with Omarcito’s and Pierogi Papi.

  • Got matched with my new mentor as part of the Next Level Exchange mentor program and had our first meeting in person. I’m excited for Steve to help me strengthen my sales and marketing efforts as I work to better scale my business.

  • Created and copyrighted new designs, many from sketches I completed earlier this year. It felt great to dedicate some time to passion projects and potential collaborations in addition to my daily painting practice.

  • Celebrated #WorldKidneyDay by sharing my own experiences with kidney disease. I’ll take any opportunity to share one of my absolute favorite passion projects, Cool Beans.

  • Restocked many favorite retail partners including Flyover Chicago, Souvenir City Chicago, Hoypoloi Gallery at O’Hare Airport, Mütter Museum, and the Milwaukee Art Museum. I also added a new museum, BYU Museum of Art to my roster of retailers.

  • Enjoyed connecting with creatives in Chicago by attending Sunnyside Chats, brunch with some of my favorite small business friends, Personal Project Creative Coworking, and a Chicago Sound Collective show at Lemon. I will be stepping in to co-host Sunnyside Chats (again!) for the next few months while one of the co-hosts is on maternity leave.

  • Ideated on a new offering specifically for retired artists and those transitioning from a different career into art full-time. I’m excited to continue to build this idea and bring it to life soon. If you fall into one of these categories and would like to chat, please reach out!

  • Adobe invited me to attend a summit in San Francisco. More details coming next month because it’s happening right now!

March was filled with so many things from multiple Adobe events to fun client work to personal projects. I thrive the most when I have a lot of exciting things happening and after many months of feeling like I’ve just been getting by in business, this month was a welcomed change.

In April, I’m excited to launch some new stickers from my recently completed designs and visit my friend Casey in South Carolina for a belated Wedding Tour celebration. Reach out if you’d like to work together, I am continuing to prioritize new branding and logo projects as well as custom merchandise and wholesale. I am continuing to accept requests via my Artist Trade Program on a rolling basis.

Thank you for being here, for supporting me, and for following along with my entrepreneurial journey.

PS - Have a project you’d like to chat about? Send me the details now to ensure your project gets on my calendar in 2025. Bring on all the logos, branded merchandise, + brand identity projects… let’s make some beautiful + impactful things together.
