About the project:
Local creatives, Chelsie & Sarah, beautify West Main Street through creatively updating handwritten signage in local businesses’ storefronts and show the difference intentional design can make through professional photography.

Hand Letter Garfield
In August, Chelsie and Sarah spoke to Limestone Community High School's commercial arts class about creative entrepreneurship and passion projects like Hand Letter West Main. Drawing inspiration from Hand Letter West Main, students in the art class will be replicating the project in their own community during the Fall 2018 semester.
About the Creatives:
Chelsie Tamms is a lettering artist, designer, and creative entrepreneur. She graduated from Bradley University and started her own business (Lettering Works) in 2016. Chelsie specializes in custom lettering, graphic design and advertising.
Sarah Waldo is a lifestyle and documentary photographer. She was born and raised in Peoria and owns Violet + Ivy Photography. Sarah specializes in small business photography, lifestyle/family photography, and product photography.
